Evaluacija provedbe projekta "Prekogranični koncept 4R+3E"

Predstavnik Delegacije Europske komisije - donatora sredstava za realizaciju projekta "Prekogranični koncept 4R+3E", izvršio je 17. rujna 2007. godine u uredu Zelene Istre u Puli procjenu provedbe projekta. Predmet provjere bili su: način upravljanja projektom, održivost aktivnosti, inicijativa i dr. nakon svršetka projekta, nabava opreme i materijala, rezultati projekta, administrativne i financijske obaveze i drugo. Izvješće o izvršenoj provjeri pohvalno opisuje način i rezultate provedbe projekta u svakom od navedenih segmenata. Motiviranost i trud izvoditeljica projekta dobili su time zasluženo priznanje. Project management is also secure. Liaison with the 3 Slovenian partners is regular and effective (e.g. the time lag of 3 months between the start of the Croatian and Slovenian contracts was solved after intense collaboration). The activities are truly joint, either being implemented on both sides of the border (expert conferences, workshops and used battery collection) or based on transfer of experience from Croatia to Slovenia or vice versa (e.g. the “Eco patrol” activity and the “Green phone” service)

This is quite clearly an exemplary project. The beneficiary staff is very able and motivated and has ensured links with all major players in the field. Almost all activities have been implemented well and according to schedule and where there have been problems they have been appropriately addressed (extension of the Slovenian contract, reallocation). Project activities have effectively highlighted the issues of waste processing amongst the public and at the political level. Sustainability is very high and the project has acted as a catalyst for future activities in the field by both public and private organizations.
